On Friday 24th of November we are hosting a film night which is open to all of our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.
We will be watching the Christmas classic Home Alone at the Community Centre between 6:30 and 8:30 pm.
The Cubs and Scouts of 1st Warfield were out and about on Sunday, helping at the Warfield Parish Council Vegetable Take And Grow event. This is an annual event where people in the local area can come and pick up some free plants, or exchange things they have too many of for ones that they want.
Several weeks previous Cubs and Scouts planted seeds and took them home to nurture. These were then brought along to the event and offered to anyone who wanted to grow some fresh produce …
1st Warfield Scout Group were out and about today, taking part in the Great British Spring Clean. We joined forces with 2nd Bracknell Cubs and spread out from Lily Hill Park picking up whatever rubbish we could find. By the end of the morning we had amassed quite a few bags worth:
It’s amazing just how much litter is out there. It is important that as Scouts we are community minded and get involved with projects like this to help make things better.
