We are holding our annual general meeting on the 17th July at 8.00pm at the Westmorland Park Pavilion.
This meeting is for everyone who is involved with the group; parents, helpers, leaders and exec. It is your opportunity to find out more about how the Group is run and what we are doing to grow the group, both in size and in the breadth of the Scouting experience we can offer our young people.

1st Warfield Scout Group has been mentioned in a Success Stories article on the Berkshire Scouts website. Last year we faced a challenge about how we could add a Scout Troop to our group. Without enough young people or experience to provide a working Troop we needed to think about how we could deliver the full Scouting experience to those in our Cub Pack who were too old to remain Cubs.
Much thinking and discussion was required in order to make this work. We now have a successful …
Tonight we had a leaving party with Beavers both current and past to say a fond farewell to Penfold (Sally) who has done a fantastic job heading up the Beaver colony over the past few years. With no children still in the Group she has decided to take a break from it. The Group would like to extend their thanks to Sally for all the hard work she has put in since setting up the colony.
